On June 16, 2008 a woman walked into the leasing office of the Sawgrass Apartments interested in leasing an apartment. Every guest has to fill out a guest card. Working in the office that day was Harry Garcia. He filled out the card for the woman. For the woman's name he wrote "Zenaida Gonzale".....not Zenaida Gonzalez, or Zenaida Fernandez-Gonzalez. He wrote "Gonzale" without the "z" on the end. On page 45 of the first document dump you can see that for yourself. The same exact document shows up again on pages 49 and 54 but there is a difference. Someone added a "z". On pages 49 and 54 the name on the guest card appears as "Zenaida Gonzalez"....notice the "z" on the end. Now, who put that there??? Why would Law Enforcement want to doctor the evidence? Do they want a better match since "Fernandez" isn't on the card? Law Enforcement shouldn't be "correcting" evidence at all! Zenaida's last name really does have a "z" on the end of it but Harry Garcia misspelled it on the guest card that he filled out for her. It should have remained that way.
Now Leonard Padilla (bounty hunter turned detective) said that Casey somehow saw that guest card and that's where Casey came up with the name "Zenaida" for the nanny. Not so fast, Leo. How did Casey come up with Zenaida Fernandez-Gonzalez from the name on the guest card being Zenaida Gonzale? Here's where things get even more weird. The guest's name is actually Zenaida Fernandez-Gonzalez!!! Now, how did Casey come up with that when only Zenaida Gonzale was on the guest card??? It makes me want to go "hmmm".
I'm not done with the weirdness yet, so please stay with me here. In an interview with Shirley Plesea (Cindy Anthony's mother) at her residence in Mount Dora she told Law Enforcement that she's heard the name "Zanny" for over a year, although she has never seen, met, or talked to her. After reading that I thought maybe she's heard the name Zanny and not Zenaida because at the time Zanny was used as a code name for Xanax as suggested by the media. Maybe Casey hadn't thought of Zanny as short for Zenaida at the time.
But then, here we go again. I'm getting more confused. Richard Grund (Casey's ex-fiance's father) states in an interview dated 9/5/08 (page 2314) that the story about "Zenaida" had not changed since early 2006. His family members watched Caylee three out of five days of the work week while Casey was trying to find a new sitter. When Richard asked Casey if she'd found a sitter yet, she replied, "Oh, yeah, I found this lady, uh, Zenaida Gonzalez...".
It gets more confusing still...one last thing....Casey said she has known Zanny for four years and has babysat Caylee for the last one-and-a-half years. That would mean that Zanny started babysitting Caylee in January 2007....but according to Richard she told him she got a new sitter named Zenaida in early 2006. Also, if Casey has known Zenaida for four years why didn't she employ her from the very beginning??? Guess Zanny wasn't babysitting then.
I don't understand the whole zany Zanny thing. I've tried to wrap my head around it, but none-the-less, I'm more confused than ever.

I didnt know about the misspelling of the name. Could it have been caught at the apt office? Changed then. I have always thought Jesse got caught up in the full name The reason is in the first interview I seen him in he only said Zanny the nanny. I thought the Zenaida at the sawgrass was Zenaida Gonzalez no fernandez.Very interesting...
This is very interesting and can't be dismissed. It IS evidence tampering for sure.
Yes I wuld like to know too if people just got caught up in the full name thing after the fact.
Also in KC's written statement does she spell Zanny? Does she spell it like the street name of Xanax? I have seen it spelled Zani too?

Tamee...I don't think the error was found at the apartment office. If it had been found at the apt. office it would have never made it into evidence without a "z" on it. It was scanned without a "z" first and then with a "z" later at the police station.
Vanilla...I don't know which way Casey spells Zanny (Zani). I believe Casey writes Zanny's name in her handwritten statement but I don't remember which way she spells it.
Ok it just gets wierder!
In one of the jail house videos. KC says to her mom, 'remember Zanny gave me the (hair)straightner'. Cindy says yes but I really would like to know if Cindy does remember this or was going along with this OR if she remembers that KC got a hair straightner from other source.
I know this losunds minor but it could really show that KC is completely delusional. And that the Ants really just go along with whatever she says even though they know it is bold faced lies.
